The West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival Board of Directors is pleased to announce their 4th Annual Christmas in Italy Dinner Concert Celebration, sponsored by Antero Resources Appalachian Corporation, on Friday, December 17th at 6pm at Village Square Conference Center, located on Rt. 19 South, in Clarksburg, WV.
 
In addition to a mouthwatering Italian Christmas Feast, attendees will enjoy a concert featuring the Florence Chico Cann Children’s Chorus and the Music of Italian Native, Singer, Performer, Recording Artist, Carmelina!
 
Carmelina was born in Limosano, Campobasso (Molise) Italy. She has several Italian Albums including an Italian Christmas Album. Her performance will include many recognizable Italian favorites and Italian Christmas favorites, as well. Her musical renditions bring both a traditional and contemporary sound to the stage. She has entertained audiences in Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Cleveland and many other places. Her shows have been brought on board cruise lines as well as various Italian events throughout the U.S. and Canada. She is the well-known host of A Touch of Italy with Carmelina, a radio show heard within the greater Cleveland area.
 
The Florence Chico Cann Children’s Chorus will also be an exciting highlight of the Christmas in Italy celebration. Under the direction of Rita Brockway, this children’s performing group will bring a heart-warming musical tone to the evening. The group is composed of children from the local area who gather to rehearse during the summer and fall. They are well-known among those attending the West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival each year. This will be their fourth year at the Christmas in Italy Celebration.
 
They, along with Carmelina will delight anyone who attends this family-friendly holiday event!
