MEDIA ADVISORY: Civil War Journal

The Civil War Journal is being produced by the Rich Mountain Battlefield Foundation and Historic Beverly Preservation in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War’s First Campaign.
 
Submitted weekly, the Civil War Journal will highlight events which occurred at the same time 150 years ago. A graphic image is attached in two formats for inclusion with the series. The first issue on Lincoln’s 1860 election is also attached. Subsequent submissions will be 200 to 300 words each.
 
The Civil War Journal is provided to the news media as a public service to assist in educating residents and visitors about West Virginia’s significant Civil War history.
