Timberline to Host Early Summer Western Weekend Celebration and Mountain Laurel Trail Rides

Visitors to this portion of West Virginia will be able to enjoy unique mountain experiences over the weekend of June 18-20 when Timberline Four Seasons Resort has scheduled high altitude horseback trail rides, barbeque cookouts, mountain and western music, scenic chairlift rides, hiking and mountain biking.
The horse back trail rides at the mountain resort will begin Saturday, June 19th, at 9 am. The excursion into the Eastern Continental Divide of the Allegheny Mountains will explore the high altitude flora, including mountain laurel, which is expected to be in full bloom at the higher elevations 4,000 feet or above.
The rides will return to the resort’s main lodge and hotel by late afternoon to enjoy music and food from the outside grill and the 1,000 foot vertical chairlift rides to 4,268 feet.. A full menu is also available at the Fireside Grill.
Song writer and Nashville recording artist, Sonshine Rivers, will entertain the guests before and during the evening meal.
The late night western celebration will continue with music and dancing by a regional favorite, Randy Vance and his Outlaw Country Band. Guests are encouraged to wear western style dress.
