WQCW-TV Broadcasting from WOWK Tower

On Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 6am WQCW-TV, the Tri-State’s local CW threw the switch on the Tri State's most powerful local television signal. The new signal covers 33 counties in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia, reaching an estimated 550,000 Television Households.
The new signal is being broadcast at a million watts from a 1,066 ft tower shared with WOWK TV located atop Barkers Ridge in Huntington. This one million dollar plus investment gives the Tri-State viewers the best new digital signal available.
Any viewer that is receiving The Tri-State's CW’s television signal over the air must rescan their tuner to receive WQCW’s new signal.
If a viewer is having trouble after re-scanning their TV’s they should call WQCW at 304-344-9729 or 740-353-3391 and ask for the Chief Engineer.
