Manchin Lifts State of Emergency for Northern WV

Charleston, WV (HNN) -- Gov. Joe Manchin on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009 lifted the State of Emergency from several of the state’s northern counties. He declared a State of the Emergency for the entire state on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 in response to the severe winter storm that swept through the state this past weekend.
 
The State of the Emergency is lifted for the following 26 counties: Barbour, Berkeley, Brooke, Doddridge, Grant, Hampshire, Hancock, Hardy, Harrison, Lewis, Marion, Marshall, Mineral, Monongalia, Morgan, Ohio, Pleasants, Preston, Ritchie, Taylor, Tucker, Tyler, Upshur, Wetzel, Wirt, and Wood counties.
