Marshall's Andrea Jackson Finishes 13th in Triple Jump at NCAA East Regional Qualifying
Jackson misses NCAA Championships by one spot

Greensboro, NC (HNN) – Andrea Jackson missed qualifying for the NCAA Track & Field National Championship Meet by one spot as she finished 13th in the triple jump Saturday afternoon, May 29 at NCAA East Regional Qualifying in Greensboro, N.C.
 
Jackson’s best jump of the day came in the finals as she posted a distance of 12.60m (41-4.25 feet). The top 12 finishers received automatic bids into the NCAA’s at the University of Oregon in two weeks, as Jackson was left on the outside looking in.
 
The senior concluded her phenomenal career at Marshall with a stellar senior season which included five first-place finishes in the triple jump. Jackson will leave MU with the triple jump school record in her possession.
