Marshall Softball Sets Summer Camp Dates
Herd to host four camps at Dot Hicks Field

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Shonda Stanton and the Marshall University softball program released dates for its summer camps on Thursday afternoon, May 27.
All four camps will be held at Dot Hicks Field on the campus of MU and are open to campers of all skill levels. To reserve clinic space, please send a $25 non-refundable deposit with the registration form.
Defensive (June 21st) and offensive (June 22nd) sessions are slated for June, with lunch and a swimming session provided.
Three sessions of hitting clinics are available on July 5th, 6th and 7th. Session one will focus on swing fundamentals, session two is geared towards drills, while session three works on common hitting problems and corrections.
Pitching clinics are set for late July and broken into three sessions. Session one (July 19th) works on pitching fundamentals, session two (July 20th) focuses on specific pitching drills and session three (July 21st) works with pitching mechanics.
Team camps are available for a fee of $400. Contact the softball office at (304) 696-4370 for more information and to schedule a date.

9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., $75
All Skills – Offense (June 22nd)
9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., $75
*$75 per session for the All Skills clinics or $125 for both
Hitting Clinics
10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (1st – 8th grade)
6 – 8 p.m. (9th – 12th grade)
*$30 per session or $75 for all three
