Marshall Baseball Finishes 4th In Conference USA
Thundering Herd Plays Houston on Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT

Irving, TX (HNN) – The Marshall University baseball team finished a program-best fourth place in Conference USA after posting a 12-12 league record. The Herd will play tournament-host University of Houston in its first game on Wednesday, May 26 at 7 p.m. (CT) at Cougar Field in Houston.
 
The Thundering Herd’s 12-12 conference record is the best in school history as MU went on to finish the 2010 campaign with an overall tally of 26-29. This marks the third-consecutive appearance the Herd has made in post-season action.
 
The slate of games for the Herd is as follows:
 
Game 1: May 26, 2010
No. 4 Marshall vs. No. 5 Houston 8 p.m. EST
 
Game 2: May 27, 2010
No. 3 Memphis vs. No. 4 Marshall 4 p.m. EST
 
Game 3: May 28, 2010
No. 1 Rice vs. No. 4 Marshall 4 p.m. EST
