The Highlanders own a 15-9 in the Big South Conference, thanks to Keen posting a .361 batting average with six homers and 47 RBI. Turner has accumulated a .341 batting clip with a team-best eight bombs and 45 RBI.
The two teams met earlier in the season on Feb. 26 at the Charleston Crab House Shootout hosted by The Citadel. The Herd escaped with a 3-2 victory thanks to a late miscue in the eighth inning allowing the eventual winning run to cross home.
In the victory, Lipton launched his first homer of the season as part of a three-hit day at the plate. Arik Sikula earned his first win of the season by tossing three scoreless frames of relief and Coan shut the door in the ninth for the save.
