Marhall's Deanna Bailey Named ITA Regional Arthur Ashe Jr. Leadership & Sportsmanship Award Winner
Bailey up for national Arthur Ashe award

Skillman, NJ (HNN) Deanna Bailey of the Marshall University womens tennis team has been named the ITA Atlantic Regional Arthur Ashe Jr. Leadership & Sportsmanship Award winner for her dedication on the tennis court and leadership off the court.
The McDonough, Ga., native is now up for consideration for the National Arthur Ashe Jr. Award along with the other 11 regional winners.
The 2009-10 captain concluded her senior season with a mark of 18-5 in singles and 19-6 in doubles. She, along with Thaddea Lock, was named the most outstanding doubles team at the Conference USA championship tournament.
The Elon University transfer brought to the Thundering Herd a phenomenal work ethic on and off the court, while helping lead the Herd to a 19-7 overall record this season.
The national award winner will be released in the beginning of June.
