Marshall University Receives Full Buyout Payment from Donnie Jones
Jones has paid the full $500,000 owed to Marshall

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Marshall University confirmed Thursday, May 6, 2010, that former men’s basketball coach Donnie Jones has made full payment of the $500,000 buyout owed to the University.
Marshall received a second payment of $250,000 from Jones on Thursday which satisfies his contractual obligation.
Jones, a native of Point Pleasant, WV, was the head coach at Marshall for three years before being hired as the head coach at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
