Senator Mitch McConnell Highlights GOP Victory Gala
Will Join Raese, McKinley, Maynard, Capito for WV Event

Charleston, WV (HNN) - The West Virginia Republican Party today announced that Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will visit West Virginia October 22nd and keynote the West Virginia Republican Victory Gala that evening in Charleston at the Marriott Hotel.
McConnell will be joined by the Republican candidate for United States Senate, John Raese, and candidates for the House of Representatives, David McKinley, Spike Maynard and Rep. Shelley Moore Capito.
“We are excited that Senator McConnell is coming to West Virginia to support John Raese and the Republican Party,” said West Virginia Republican Chair Mike Stuart. “It is a privilege to host the Senior Senator from Kentucky and the next Majority Leader of the United States Senate. Clearly, his decision to travel to our state at such a critical time during the national campaign shows how important West Virginia is to our hopes of regaining both houses of the Congress.”
“The Leader has been a strong champion of issues that matter to us here, like coal and jobs,” said Stuart. “He knows that the work of the liberal elites in Washington is intent on hurting the economies of Kentucky, West Virginia and the nation.”
