Huntington, WV (HNN) – IMG College (formerly ISP Sports) has secured the rights to allow the Brighthouse Networks television broadcast of Marshall’s Conference USA men’s basketball opener on January 5 to be shown on WSAZ in the Charleston/Huntington, W.Va., market.
Brighthouse Network will provide coverage of the event, which will be picked up in the Huntington area by WSAZ and kickoff Marshall's local men's basketball broadcast package for the season.
"We are proud to be able to secure the rights to the broadcast," said Jason Golden, General Manager of IMG College Marshall. "It is a big game for the Thundering Herd being the Conference USA opener and facing a potentially undefeated team in UCF."
The game is set to start on Wednesday (Jan. 5) at 7 p.m. It will be the second of a two-game road trip for MU that begins Sunday at St. Bonaventure.
