Former Marshall Softball Players Rachel Folden And Jessica Williams To Play On ESPN2 Saturday
Folden’s Chicago Bandits Take On Williams’ USSSA Pride

Huntington, WV (HNN) — Two former Marshall University softball players will play against each other Saturday June 12 on ESPN 2. Rachel Folden (catcher, 2005-08) and her Chicago Bandits will take on Jessica Williams (2003-06) and her USSSA Pride in a 5 p.m. (EDT) start. The game will be played in Lubbock, Texas as part of the “West Texas Dual on the Diamond.” The likely pitching matchup will see a pair of United States’ Olympians in Chicago’s Kat Osterman facing the Pride’s Jennie Finch.
Folden, a four-time All-American for the Thundering Herd, is in her third season with the Bandits. She has been named All-NPF in both campaigns for Chicago. Williams is playing her fifth season of professional softball, her second with the Pride.
