Superstore Arena looks for 3rd straight sell out
By Brandon Woolum

With 2 sold out shows already in the books for the month of November at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, they are showing no signs of stopping as they prepare for the final concert of this year, Diomond Rio.

The country 5-piece brings their "A Christmas Spirit" to the Superstore Arena stage Friday, December 19 at 7:30pm. Included in the show will be a number of their 23 top 10 hits mixed up with some traditional holiday favorites.

Diamond Rio hit the charts in 1991 with two number one singles "Meet in the Middle" and "Norma Jean Riley" from their self-titled debut album. They most recently returned to country music’s top slot with the hit single "One More Day" from the album of the same name. The band has received 12 Grammy nominations and owns 13 consecutive nominations for CMA Vocal Group of the Year, a CMA record.

Arena officials hope that the concert will reach out to the same country fan base that helped sell out the recent Toby Keith and Terri Clark concert – hoping to end the year with a bang. Big things continue to happen at Big Sandy Superstore Arena and don’t expect them to end next year, as the Arena is already working to bring in some major events.
