349 Bags of Heroin, Cocaine, Firearms and Small Children

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Checking on the welfare of children inside the residence at 525 30th Street led to a major drug bust. The Michigan man arrested had in December 2008 suffered a bullet wound in connection with the robbery and murder of another man.
 
Terrence A. McArthur of Inkster, Mich., was one of four adults inside the house, according to a press release from the Huntington Police Department. None of the other three adults were arrested.
 
Officers found 349 bags of heroin in plain view at the home , and a subsequent search revealed two guns, a small quantity of hydrocodone, cocaine , marijuana, scales and assorted drugs.
 
McArthur already wanted for a Michigan parole violation has been lodged at the Western Regional Jail facing additional charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felon in possession of a firearm, receiving and transferring stolen property, possession of a controlled substance.
 
The 2008 shooting killed Horace O’Neal. McArthur, whose injuries left him in a wheelchair for months, testified against George Lockhart, who pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter.
