“Yogi” Wants Canned Goods for Huntington Area Food Bank

Huntington, WV (HNN) - Pullman Square’s Marquee Cinemas hosts a smarter than the average bear premiere party, Saturday, Dec. 18, from 12 noon-2 p.m. Celebrating the opening of “Yogi Bear” in 3D, patrons are asked to bring a canned food donation for the picnic basket, which will not go to Yogi but to help restock the Huntington Area Food Bank.
The food drive continues through January 1, 2011, and, those who bring a canned food item will be entered in a drawing to win a basket full of prizes from Pullman Square businesses.
As for Yogi, he and Boo Boo will be on-screen attempting to prevent the recession from closing Jellystone Park from becoming a commercial development.
