Huntington Police Recruit Applications Exceeding Expectations
Period Continues Through January 13, 2011

Huntington, WV (HNN) - The Huntington Police Department continues recruitment of new officers through Jan. 13, 2011. “Towards the end of these recruitment periods, we have an influx of last minute applications,” Chief Skip Holbrook said. This year the department in the earlier recruitment period is “exceeding” application expectations.
Four vacancies will be available under the 2011-2012 budget. Prior to putting on a uniform, those selected must complete courses at the State Police Academy.
Applications are available at the city clerk’s office in City Hall. Or, you can download one at: http://www.hpdrecruit.com
