Toughman Tickets Go On Sale This Saturday

Huntington, WV (HNN) - Tickets for the 23rd Annual TRI-STATE “ORIGINAL” TOUGHMAN CONTEST, that is scheduled for January 14th & 15th at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, will go on sale this Saturday, December 11th at 10:00 AM.
In addition to all the exciting competition that The “ORGINAL” TOUGHMAN CONTEST delivers, this year for the first time in several years, a “Pro-Fight” will be featured on the card on January 15th, when WV Cruiserweight Champion Bobby Thomas, Jr (7-1,5 KO’s), of Oak Hill, WV faces Cullen Rodgers, (veteran of 40 fights), of Akron, OH. The Thomas versus Rogers fight is scheduled for six (6) rounds and is in the 200 lb cruiserweight division.
The event is being promoted by Jerry Thomas’ West Virginia Sports Promotions and sponsored by KEYSTONE LIGHT, 84 LUMBER, MIKE FERRELL TOYOTA-SCION, and A-BAIL BONDS This year up to 100 area men and women are expected to fight in the very popular event, that is being welcomed by Media Sponsors SUDDENLINK MEDIA, WTCR, WAMX and NETWORK WV. The host hotel is the RED ROOF INN of Huntington.
Ticket prices are $10 (student), $16 General Admission, $21 Reserved and $31 for VIP Ringside (first 4 rows). Tickets will go on sale at 10:00am this Saturday December 11th at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena Box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com or to charge tickets by phone call 1-800-745-3000.
