Local Cable Company Holds Toy Drive To Help Secret Santa Program

Lawrence Co., OH (HNN) – Local cable, internet and phone provider, Armstrong, will hold a Toy Drive to benefit the Lawrence County Young Professionals’ Secret Santa program. Armstrong will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for kids of all ages at their South Point office, located across from the Lawrence County Airpark, on Friday, December 3. Armstrong will also be celebrating the launch of Toy Story 3 on Armstrong On Demand. Cookies, popcorn and refreshments will be available, as well as screening Toy Story 3 all day.
The program seeks to provide every child in Lawrence County with an opportunity to have a Christmas. You can also make donations payable to LEDC Secret Santa and be sent to the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.
Last year the newly formed group of area professionals saved a long time program from becoming defunct by gathering community support from individuals and businesses at the last minute. The Lawrence County Young Professionals is a group of area working professionals that live and work in Lawrence County, Ohio communities. Newly formed in the fall of 2009, the LCYP has had the primary focus of continuing Secret Santa, a more than decade old program that provides Christmas for children of families in need.
