Ohio Makes Two Foul Shots in Last Seconds For 54-52 Win Over Marshall

Huntington, WV (HNN) - Ohio University's Alesia Howard made two foul shots with five seconds remaining in the women's basketball game to break a 52-52 tie game and win 54-52 over Marshall University at Cam Henderson Center on Tuesday night.
Both teams were in a defensive battle all night. The game had a lot of action, but no team was scoring a lot of points.
Marshall held the Bobcats to a game shooting average of 29.1% and to 20% from the three point range. Ohio's free throw shooting was 81.8%.
Marshall's shooting average was 47.6% and 33.3 % from the three point range. Marshall shot 77.8% from the free throw line.
The score was tied 13 times and the lead changed eight times.
A contingent of Ohio fans were cheering after the game. Former Huntington High basketball player Erin Bailes plays for Ohio. She had four points.
