Huntington, WV (HNN) – Prayers have been answered for members of the Hvemeyer family. Ruth “Tuesday” Hovemeyer was located Saturday afternoon, Nov 20 in Huntington by a member of the West Virginia State Police.

The 22-year-old reported missing from her apartment near Second Street West and Eighth Avenue had been out of town. She had not told her parents. She did not know she had become the subject of a missing persons report.

An online report suggested that the hiking community be targeted. Apparently, the blond 22-year-old Air National guard member had been hitchhiking.

The website of her sister-in-law and brothers stated: “Ruth is no longer missing. Thanks for your prayers and support.”

Hovemeyer was aware she had been reported as a missing person, according to state police, and apologized for the inconvenience she had caused. She was unharmed.
