Barboursville Middle School Food Drive

Barboursville, WV (HNN) - November 19, 2010 - Students and faculty members of Barboursville Middle School have been collecting canned and boxed food items for the Huntington City Mission for the past two weeks. The drive began November 8th and ended today.
Each year the school does some sort of food or clothing drive near the holidays, and this year it was decided the school would target the Huntington City Mission as the recipient of their efforts.
The event netted 6,967 cans and boxes of food. The students and teachers worked very hard to make the event a success.
