Wayne Wins Over Shady Spring in First Round Class AA Play-off Football Game

Wayne, WV (HNN) - Wayne High School took an early 10-0 lead against Shady Spring then went on to win 34-8 playing at home in the first round of the West Virginia High School Class AA football play-offs.
The Wayne defense held Shady Spring to almost no points until late in the fourth quarter until Shady Spring got into the end zone. The Wayne offense was also in top gear with their running and passing game.
Wayne travels to Bluefield this Friday for a 7:30 PM football game for a return match. Bluefield beat Wayne at home in the last regular season football game 47-6.
