Eighth Avenue Shooting Apparently Accidental or Self Inflicted

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Huntington Police Chief “Skip” Holbrook told HNN Wednesday evening, Nov. 17, that the head wound suffered Tuesday, Nov. 16, by a man at 1018 8th Street, Apt. 8, was accidental or self inflicted.
Andrew Harrison, 25, of Charleston had been taken to St. Mary’s Hospital where he was listed in good condition.
“By shoring up and taking statements, information leads us to believe it was accidental or possibly self inflicted,” Holbrook said. “We are not prepared to positively say one way or the other. It does not appear necessarily that the wound was by someone else to harm the victim.”
