Bus Hit by Truck; Driver Runs

Huntington, WV (HNN) - Members of the Huntington Police Department are searching for the driver of a truck which collided with a Southside Tri State Transit Authority bus. According to a source familiar with the accident, the truck had been traveling the wrong way on Eighth Avenue.
After the collision, the driver of the truck fled the scene.
The suspect vehicle is either a green or beige SUV, according to HNN sources. It should have massive damage to the front end.
The accident occurred about 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
Police are investigating.
