Wolfe Kicking Off City Mission Thanks-4-Giving Drive

Huntington, WV (HNN) - Huntington Mayor Kim Wolfe announced today that he will be helping the Huntington City Mission kick off its 5th Annual Thanks-4-Giving bucket drive. He will present a proclamation to the Mission’s Board of Directors Meeting on Wednesday, November 17th at Noon.
 
Thanks-4-Giving Day will be on Thursday, November 18, 2010, and volunteers will be collecting money at Huntington’s three bridges and at the City Mission located at 624 10th Street.
 
Clear Channel Communications will be sponsoring live remote broadcasts throughout the day and helping to collect money for the bucket drive at its studio at 134 4th Avenue and in front of the City Mission.
 
The Huntington City Mission is hoping to collect funds to help them sustain the services they provide to those in need during Thanksgiving and throughout the holiday season.
 
The City Mission has been providing services in Huntington for seventy-one years.
