Police Say Eighth Avenue Shooting Victim in Good Condition

Huntington, WV (HNN) – A man shot in the head at 1018 Eighth Avenue, Tuesday, Nov. 16, has non-life threatening injuries, according to a Huntington Police Department release.
Police responded to a “loud music” dispatch and found Andrew Harrison, 25, of Charleston, with a gunshot wound to the head. After transport to St. Mary’s Medical Center, the victim was reported in good condition with non-life threatening injuries.
The incident occurred at about 5:52 p.m. The HPD investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
Police arrested Joe Smith, 31, at the same address for an unrelated destruction of property charge.
