Contract Ratification Statement

"Cabell Huntington Hospital is very pleased that its nearly 800 union workers represented by SEIU 1199 voted today to ratify a new three-year contract," said Brent A. Marsteller, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We deeply appreciate the extensive efforts of both negotiating teams, whose members worked diligently over the past several months to reach a mutually acceptable agreement. We are also tremendously grateful to our patients, visitors and community for the patience and understanding they have shown during this process."
"Unquestionably, Cabell Huntington Hospital's greatest asset is its people - the dedicated, hard-working employees, physicians and volunteers who provide quality, state-of-the-art care and service to our patients and visitors each day. I consider it an honor and privilege to work with this outstanding team to carry out our mission of caring for our community."
