Princeton Wins Tri-State Marching Band Festival at Marshall

Huntington, WV (HNN) - Princeton High School won the Grand Championship award at the Marshall University Tri-State Marching Band Festival held Saturday on a cold night at the Joan C. Edwards Stadium competing against 31 other bands from the region.
Marietta High School from Ohio finished as first runner-up and Cabell Midland was second runner-up. South Charleston received Best Twirler. Many other awards were also presented to the participating bands.
The competition started Saturday morning and finished about 10 PM. The Marshall University Marching Thunder performed an impressive exhibition to end the day.
