Cabell Huntington Hospital Hosts Free Screenings For Pulmonary Disease
Nov. 10 event to focus on COPD, a common lung disorder

Huntington, WV (HNN) - Cabell Huntington Hospital will bring attention to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with a special awareness day with information and screenings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10.
The event will take place in room G403 on the ground floor of the Marshall University Medical Center on the campus of Cabell Huntington Hospital. Free lung function testing will be offered and respiratory specialists will be available to provide information and advice for those who may suffer from COPD.
COPD is a leading cause of death in the United States and is known as a silent disease because many who have it don't know that they are affected. If you are a current or ex-smoker, are over age 40 and you have symptoms like a chronic cough or breathlessness, you may benefit from this event.
