Thundering Herd Madness Introduces Men’s Basketball Team

Huntington, WV (HNN) – First year head basketball coach Tom Herrion introduced the 2010-2011 edition of the Thundering Herd men’s basketball team to about 2,000 fans Saturday, Oct. 16, at Cam Henderson Center.
The session included a two-ball competition, dunk contest, a twenty minute scrimmage, along with an autograph session.
Junior Damier Pitts scored four half court shots in the competition. Johnny Thomas, a redshirt junior, was judged by five fans as the dunk contest winner.
