Special Call, Committee Meetings Huntington City Council Scheduled

Huntington, WV (HNN) – The following meetings of Huntington City Council and respective sub-committees have been announced for October. All meetings are in council chambers at City Hall unless otherwise stated. They are open to the public and televised on Comcast Channel 24:
Wednesday, October 6, 5 p.m., Public Safety Committee, for discussion of the contract to purchase the WVIRP Interoperable (Digital) Radio System for the Huntington Police Department.
Wednesday, October 6, 6 p.m.: Special Call for Second Reading of an Ordinance Re-Enacting the $3.00 a week user fee.
Thursday, October 7, 4 p.m.: Work Session for Tuesday , Oct. 12 council meeting. Subject to change.
Tuesday, October 12, Huntington City Council (regular meeting), 7:30 p.m. Meeting on Tuesday due to Columbus Day Holiday
Wednesday, October 20, Storm Water Committee of Huntington City Council, 5:30 p.m. Updates will be provided by Kit Anderson, ast. Public Works Director
There will be a meeting of the Storm Water Committee in Council Chambers on Wednesday, October 20th beginning at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the following:
