Finance Committee Meeting Likely Next Week

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Huntington City Council’s Finance Committee will likely meet next week, according to Steve Williams, chairman.
At that time Huntington Finance Director Deron Runyon has been asked to provide accounting related to revenue flows since fiscal 09-10 closed. If revenues are running lower than last year at this time, Williams will likely propose that the administration and council prepare for additional cuts beyond the 10% already in place.
Williams has not set a date and time for the meeting.
