Charleston Casting Calls for Two Flicks

Charleston, WV (HNN) – Filmmakers will cast for two productions to be filmed in and around Charleston, Saturday, September 18, 3-6 p.m. at the Capitol Center Theatre, 123 Summers Street, Charleston.
 
These casting calls are being held on the same day and at the same location, but for two different productions. You may be considered for both productions.
 
The first film, “One Soldier, One Grave,” a feature length docu-drama tells about the death, burial , exhumation and re-burial of Capt. Philip J. Thurmond, killed in October 1864 during the Civil War in Winfield.

Roles Available: one African-American Female between ages 30-50; a couple dozen Caucasian Males between ages 20-40
 
Note: If you have Confederate or Union props and wardrobe, please bring with you. Also, please bring resumes and headshots if available, but casting call will be videotaped and photographed. Expected filming dates are October 29-30 in the Greater Kanawha Valley area with additional filming days sporadically throughout the remainder of the year.
 
DOGGONE
 
The second production, “Doggone,” is the thesis for a WVSU student.
