BOOK NOTES: West Virginia Author Event Set for Saturday at Huntington Mall

Barboursville, WV (HNN) - Borders Bookstore will hold a Mountain State Author Weekend this Saturday, Sept. 18, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., at Huntington Mall. Scheduled to appear will be three bestselling regional authors, including Bram Stoker Award-Winner Michael Knost. Others will include Mountain State editor and writer Brian J. Hatcher and author Keith Davis. Knost and Hatcher will be signing special copies of the Legends of the Mountain State series,
Appalachian Winter Hauntings, Dark Tales of Terror, and Writers Workshop of Horror (2009 winning title of the International Bram Stoker Award). Davis is the author of The Secret Life and Brutal Death of Mamie Thurman, West Virginia Tough Boys, and The Feuding Hatfields & McCoys.
