Confirmed Extras Casting Call for Weirton

Weirton, WV (HNN) - The following casting schedule has been confirmed by the WV Film Office. They have stated that “Wickham” is the name of the film shooting in Weirton, WV, which is a period teen coming of age flick set in the 70s.
Extra casting calls have already started. The next one is August 31 and September 3 & 4. The crew also needs 70s vehicles for the film. Responses should be sent to (corrected from a previous error), ParamountPickMe@gmail.com. Extras selected will be paid, but must commit to a 12 hour day or night shoot in September and/or October.

You can line up for a head shot and short interview for in-person extra recruiting on these dates:
People of all types, ages 6 and up, are invited to attend and register at ONLY ONE of the above Casting Calls. Acting experience helps, but is not necessary!
For those who have already applied in person and had their picture taken (e.g., at the Weirton 5K Classic or the Weirton High School Soccer game), PLEASE DO NOT attend another Casting Call.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 31 — 3:30pm to 6:00pm

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 — 6:30pm to TBD
Weir High School Football Game

Lineup starts at 6:30pm (kickoff is at 7:30pm)
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 — 10:00am to 1:00pm
Millsop Community Center, Weirton Room

These are paid positions; all extras who work will be compensated. You NEVER have to pay anything to be considered for this film. Filming takes place Monday through Friday from mid-September to late October. Most extras will work outdoors, days and/or nights, but usually only one (1) day or several days during that time.
You must be available for up to 12- (or 12+) hour** day shoots or night shoots (**reduced hours for minors, per labor law restrictions) until late October. If you cannot commit to a full day or night shoot, on any given day, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.
Also, extras that are cast will be expected to attend a fitting session for wardrobe and hair prior to their day(s) of work. Persons with any athletic, military or martial arts training are encouraged to apply. All potential movie extras are asked to NOT cut or color their hair. Appropriate styling will be provided upon the job. Filming will take place in and around Weirton.
Filmmakers also pay for selected 70s vehicles that are used in the production.
