Cabell Huntington Hospital names Director of Maintenance & Engineering Department

Huntington, WV (HNN) - Michael D. Roberts, PE, CHFM, recently was named Director of Maintenance and Engineering at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Roberts has more than 27 years of experience working in a variety of engineering roles and leadership positions. His expertise includes more than 17 years working in hospital engineering and plant operations settings, including positions such as Director of Facilities Management and Plant Operations for Moses Cone Health System and Pitt County, NC, Memorial Hospital. Roberts also has been active as a board member and President of the North Carolina Healthcare Engineers Association.
In his role at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Roberts will oversee daily operations of maintenance and facilities management. He will also play a lead role in the planning of future construction and renovation projects at the hospital.
Cabell Huntington Hospital is a 313-bed regional academic medical center affiliated with the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. The hospital's campus also includes the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center, a state-of-the-art outpatient cancer center.
