Celebrate Children’s Day - Free Family Fun – This Saturday!

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Saturday, August 21, 2010, Success By 6Ò a United Way of the River Cities initiative, and event sponsors, Mug & Pia, Whisk and 93.7 The Dawg, will host Celebrate Children’s Day at the United Way field (820 Madison Avenue, Huntington, WV – across the street from the Department of Motor Vehicles) from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm.
This event is a celebration of children and families, and seeks to promote family interaction through a myriad of activities. Exhibitors will host a wonderland of games, and activities that will educate attendees about the 12 tips to raising a healthy child. Additionally, exhibitors will provide valuable information to parents about a range of resources and programs for children in the River Cities.
Ronald McDonald will greet families and provide photos opportunities.
Door prizes will be given away every 30 minutes. Grand prizes include a year’s membership to the Huntington Museum of Art and MU Recreational Center, bowling passes at Spare Time and Colonial Lanes, gift certificate to the Pottery Place, pool pass to WV State Parks, tickets to Marquee Cinema and many more! Grand prize drawings will begin at 12:30 p.m.
