Precautionary Boil Water Advisory Lifted For Madison Avenue in Huntington

Huntington, WV (HNN) – West Virginia American Water has lifted a precautionary boil water advisory for Madison Avenue between 15th Street West and 18th Street West in Huntington. The residential and commercial customers affected in the area will be notified via door hangers.
The advisory was issued Friday after a water main break. Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards. Therefore, customers in that area are no longer advised to boil water prior to consumption.
West Virginia American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event.
