Seeking Entertainers For National Night Out

Huntington, WV (HNN) - Calling all singers, rappers, choirs and performers, your community needs you! The Huntington Weed and Seed Program and 98.7 The Beat are looking for local talent to perform at the National Night Out, Tuesday, Aug. 3.
 
National Night Out is an opportunity for everyone in Huntington to come together as a community and take back the streets from drugs and crime. Performers are wanted for a live showcase of local talent hosted by The Beat’s Leisha Lee. “We’re looking for everything from gospel to rap, to puppets and jokes” says Time White, Weed and Seed program coordinator. Huntington’s National Night Out will have food, games, inflatables and informational booths. “America’s Night Out, Against Crime” will take place at 19th street and 10th avenue, Aug. 3 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
