Marshall Football Player Blows Second Chance; Dismissed from Team

Huntington, WV (HNN) – An MU football player given a second chance to clean up his act has been dismissed from the program. Sophomore DeQuan Bembry, a cornerback, was arrested Sunday morning for the fourth time since March 2009.
According to the Huntington Police Department report, Bembry was arrested in the 1400 block of 4 ½ alley. He was charged with DUI and taken to the Western Regional Jail. His blood alcohol content was double the legal limit.
Marshall University Head Football coach Doc Holliday issued the following statement: “I am very disappointed in DeQuan and he has been dismissed from our football team.”
