Two Huntington Police Department Arrests Following Two Shooting Incidents Near 20th Street

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Two men have been arrested on charges stemming from two unrelated early morning shooting incidents. Jason Sadler, 25, a Detroit native, has been charged with malicious wounding and wanton endangerment stemming from the Tuesday, July 13 incident in which Rebecca Noble was shot in the back.
The shooting occurred about 7:55 a.m. in the 1900 block of Ninth Avenue. Noble had surgery and had previously been listed in serious condition.
HPD patrol units arrested Sadler Friday afternoon, July 16.
Earlier Friday morning, John Pinksey, 40, had been shot in the back also in the 1900 block of Ninth Avenue. That shooting occurred about 6:35 a.m.
The victim identified the suspect to police. HPD arrested Ernest Johnson on malicious wounding charges.
