DEVELOPING… Huntington Firefighters Battle Washington Avenue Blaze

Huntington, WV (HNN) – Huntington firefighters have responded to a large structure fire just before 3 a.m. Friday morning in the vicinity of a blaze Thursday afternoon that destroyed a storage building.
Members of the Huntington Police Department have placed barricades on Washington Avenue and surrounding streets.
A dispatcher could not confirm at the time of this report the specific location of the fire. The call from a volunteer firefighter said the smoke was coming from a building in the 900 block of Washington Avenue.
