New City Hall Hours; Questions on Monday thru Thursday

Huntington, WV (HNN) - Huntington City Hall is closed Fridays. But, councilman Mark Bates has concerns about the variation of hours that city departments are open Mondays through Thursdays.
“We were told that City Hall would be open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. That means each office is open [those hours]. Now, they are saying that the Mayor’s office and Planning/Development are open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. , but other offices open and close at various times,” Bates said.
The vice chairman of council will likely inquire about this matter during the Good and Welfare portion of Monday's council meeting.
Here are the hours:
Monday-Thursday
City Clerk: 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Development & Planning: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
Finance, Room 20: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Finance: 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Floodwall: 6 a.m.-3 p.m.
HMDA: 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
Human Resources: 8 a.m.-7 p.m. (calls only after 6 p.m.)
Inspections & Compliance: 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
IT: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Legal: 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Mayor's Office: 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
Purchasing: 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Street Division: 6 a.m.-3 p.m.
Traffic Engineering: 6 a.m.-3 p.m.
Monday-Friday
HMPB: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
