Big Sandy Superstore Arena & SMG Announce General Manager Leaving Job

Huntington, WV (HNN) – SMG, arena management company for the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, announces that AJ Boleski is leaving his position as General Manager after four years with the arena. Boleski will be leaving his Huntington position on July 23rd to move onto another SMG managed facility INTRUST Bank Arena located in Wichita, Kansas.
Boleski is a Kansas native who graduated with bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from Fort Hays State University in 2001. His first job for SMG was at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka where he was event and sales coordinator.
As Boleski prepares to depart, SMG Executives announce that his replacement will have the same level of energy and will maintain the high level of events that the Big Sandy Superstore Arena has seen in recent years.
A search for a replacement has already begun and will be completed soon.
Big Sandy Superstore Arena is the largest entertainment venue in the tri-state. The arena hosts concerts, family shows, trade shows, regional and state athletic competitions. Adjacent to the arena, the Big Sandy Superstore Arena Conference Center has over 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.
