Holzer Center for Joint Replacement
Hosts informational luncheon with Red Hat Society

Gallipolis, OH – On Tuesday, June 22, 2010, thirteen members of the Red Hot Flashes Chapter of the Red Hat Society attended a luncheon and Q & A session at Holzer Clinic with the Regional Orthopedic Center to have their medical questions answered by Orthopedic Surgeons and Physical Medicine physicians that attended an informal meeting. J.T. Holland, Holzer Clinic manager of the department of Orthopedics, opened the meeting. Dr. Bruce Haupt, Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon; Dr. Daniel Black, Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician; and Dorothy B. Lollathin, Physician Assistant attended the meeting. The ladies of the Red Hot Flashes came prepared with a number of questions ranging from partial and total joint replacement surgery to rehabilitation and cortisone injections. Topics discussed included the newly developed Holzer Center for Joint Replacement in Jackson, the Stryker Computer Navigated Joint Replacement System, partial joint replacement, the recovery process, rehabilitation options and general orthopedic health.
Holzer Clinic offers the opportunity for members of the community to have lunch and chat with physicians in an informal setting. These events allow the participants to ask questions and get to know Holzer Clinic Physicians and their practice on a more personal level.
