WILL WORK FOR FOOD!: Local Realtors “Will Work For Food” To Raise Donations To The Hungry

Special to Huntingtonnews.net

Barboursville, WV (HNN) - Century 21 Homes & Land’s “Team Double K“, Kay Welch and Kelli Sobonya, are teaming up with Tower Food Fair and the Huntington City Mission to help stock the pantry for our area’s homeless population.

Join “Team Double K” as they display their “Will Work for Food” signs at the entrance of Tower Food Fair in Barboursville between the hours of 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 29th where the public is urged to bring non-perishable food items.

To help the Huntington City Mission beyond this event, there will also be a donation container at the Century 21 Homes & Land, Inc. office through the month of August. The Century 21 office is located at River Place, 6007 Route 60 East, Suite 240, Barboursville, WV 25504 (across from the pink elephant).

"As a Realtor, wife, and mother, I know the importance of home ownership and am blessed to have a roof over my family's head. Oftentimes, we take for granted a nice place to call home and good food that we enjoy each day," said Kay Welch, Realtor with Century 21.

The real estate team of “Team Double K” will also pledge 5% of their commissions to the Huntington City Mission for new sales generated through this endeavor throughout 2010.

Her real estate business partner, Kelli Sobonya, added, "We want to do our part to help those who are less fortunate and this is a way we can give back to the community.

Team Double K also urges local congregations and civic organizations to drop off food at this event or at the real estate office.

Buying or selling, call “Team Double K” who “WILL WORK FOR FOOD” for the hungry!
