Cabell-Huntington Convention & Visitors Bureau Receives Telly Award for 2009 Soccer Welcome Video

The Cabell-Huntington Convention & Visitors Bureau is the recipient of The Telly Award for Outstanding Online Video in the Travel/Tourism category. The award winning “Soccer Welcome Video” was produced by Trifecta Productions and served to orient visitors for the 2009 US Youth Soccer Region 1 Tournament, which brought approximately 16,000 people to the Barboursville and Greater Huntington area.
The Telly Awards receive nearly 14,000 entries from the world’s finest production companies, ad agencies, TV stations, cable companies, corporations and interactive agencies. They have been a respected barometer of excellence in the industry for 31 years.
“Receiving a Telly is a tremendous honor for all involved,” said Jennifer Wheeler, Director of Marketing for the Cabell-Huntington Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Further, it acknowledges the great efforts to which our community went to make the 16,000 guests that were here for the soccer tournament feel welcome.”
