Portion of Eighth Avenue to Be Closed Monday

Huntington, WV (HNN) - A stretch of Eighth Avenue will be closed during the day Monday, June 7. Emats has been contracted by West Virginia American Water to pave the stretch of road in the 2800 block that was damaged in the water main break on Monday night, June 1.
That segment of the road will be closed at 7 a.m. Monday and is expected to reopen at about 5:30 p.m.
West Virginia American Water apologizes to the public for any inconvenience and wants to thank motorists for their patience.
